Privacy Policy

AgAnswers AI, Inc. d/b/a AgAnswers ("AgAnswers," "we," "our," or "us") provides software and AI-assisted tools for agricultural organizations. We built AgAnswers to help farmers and their teams work with their data in a way that is private, practical, and aligned with their interests. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices available to you.

Information We Collect

We collect information needed to operate, secure, and improve the Services, including:

• Account and organization information, such as your name, email address, role, organization details, and authentication details.
• Contact information, including phone numbers you provide to enable SMS features or receive account-related communications.
• Content and data you upload, submit, sync, or otherwise make available through the Services, including documents, records, prompts, messages, and files associated with your organization.
• Integration data from third-party services you choose to connect to AgAnswers, such as file metadata, selected files, and related access credentials or tokens needed to maintain the connection. We access only the files and folders you specifically authorize.
• Usage, diagnostic, and device information, including logs and product interaction data used to monitor reliability, maintain security, and improve performance.

How We Use Information

We use information only as needed to provide and support the Services, including to authenticate users, operate organization workspaces, process and store customer content, power AI-assisted workflows, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and communicate with you about your account or requested features.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use customer data for unrelated advertising or unrelated third-party marketing. If we use customer data internally, it is to operate, secure, support, or improve services provided to that customer and its organization.

Customer Data and Agricultural Information

We understand that agricultural customers are especially sensitive to how operational and farm data is handled. Our intent is to keep that data as private as reasonably possible and to use it only to provide the Services requested by the customer and its organization. We do not use customer data to compete with customers, to drive unrelated commercial strategies, or to sell customer information to third parties.

Third-Party Integrations

If you connect a third-party service to AgAnswers, we use the access you authorize to provide the requested integration features. If you revoke or disconnect an integration, we will stop future access to that connected account. Previously synced or imported files and data may remain in your workspace until they are separately deleted.

Google Drive Integration

AgAnswers offers a Google Drive integration that allows users to browse and select files from Google Drive and sync them into their AgAnswers workspace. Once connected, AgAnswers may periodically access your authorized files in the background to keep your workspace corpus up to date, for example, picking up changes to files you have already authorized. This sync process runs automatically for your benefit so that AI-assisted features reflect your most current information. Other members of your organization do not have direct access to your Drive files, but may interact with data derived from those files through AI-assisted features within the shared workspace.

How we access your data. Access to Google Drive is granted by you individually through Google's OAuth authorization flow. We use the drive.file scope, which limits our access strictly to files you explicitly open or create with AgAnswers. We do not have access to your entire Google Drive. We request only the permissions necessary to provide the integration.

What we store. We do not store raw copies of your Google Drive files. When you authorize a file, AgAnswers processes it to extract and store a derived representation, such as text and embeddings, that powers AI-assisted features in your workspace. This processed data is used solely to provide the Services to your organization and is not used to train AI models, serve advertising, or for any other purpose.

Human access. AgAnswers employees and support staff do not read or view the contents of your Google Drive files or the derived data stored in your workspace.

Data sharing. We do not share, sell, or transfer data obtained through the Google Drive integration to any third parties, except to subprocessors who assist in delivering the Services and are bound by appropriate data protection obligations.

Disconnecting and deletion. You may revoke AgAnswers' access to your Google Drive at any time through your Google account settings or through AgAnswers. When you disconnect the integration, we will stop all future access to your Drive. Processed data previously derived from your Drive files will remain in your workspace until you delete it, which you can do yourself at any time through the product.

Compliance. Our use of data obtained through Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

SMS and Mobile Privacy

Users may choose to opt in to receive conversational, account-related, and user-requested service notification text messages from AgAnswers. Message frequency varies based on user activity and requests. Message and data rates may apply.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties except vendors and service providers that support delivery of the messaging service.

Users can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP. Users can reply HELP for help. If a user opts out, we will stop sending further SMS messages to that number unless the user opts in again.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is deleted or scheduled for deletion, residual copies may remain in backups or archives for a commercially reasonable period subject to legal, regulatory, or operational requirements.

Your Choices

• You may request access to, export of, correction of, or deletion of your information by contacting us at privacy@aganswers.ai. We will respond to requests within a reasonable timeframe, subject to applicable law and operational limits.
• You may disconnect supported integrations through the product or by contacting us. You may also revoke Google Drive access directly through your Google account settings.
• You may delete processed data derived from Google Drive files yourself at any time through the product.
• You may stop SMS messages by replying STOP and may request help by replying HELP.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards that are designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to apply security controls that are appropriate for the sensitivity of the data we handle.

Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and provide additional notice where appropriate. If we change how we use data obtained through Google APIs, we will notify users and obtain consent before making use of that data in a new way.
