AgAnswers SMS Consent and Opt-In

This public page is not a web opt-in form. It documents the authenticated product workflow and SMS confirmation flow used by AgAnswers AI, Inc. for non-marketing customer care, account-support, conversational, and user-requested service or status messages tied to a specific AgAnswers organization.

Recipients use AgAnswers SMS to ask questions, receive account-related assistance, and receive user-requested updates related to account access, organization data, uploaded documents, spreadsheets, reports, and setup for their AgAnswers organization.

Who provisions the number

An authorized organization administrator inside the authenticated AgAnswers app.

Who initiates consent

The intended user must text +1 217-217-2717 first from the enrolled phone.

Non-marketing customer care, account support, conversational, and user-requested service or status SMS only.

Step-by-step message flow

  1. 1An authorized organization administrator adds or updates the intended member's mobile number inside the authenticated AgAnswers organization settings.
  2. 2Provisioning the number does not by itself opt the user in and does not send marketing or promotional SMS.
  3. 3The organization shares the AgAnswers SMS number (+1 217-217-2717) with the intended user out-of-band.
  4. 4From the enrolled phone, the intended user must text +1 217-217-2717 first.
  5. 5AgAnswers replies with the AgAnswers brand name, the organization name, message purpose, message frequency disclosure, message and data rate disclosure, Privacy and Terms links, and STOP and HELP instructions, then asks the user to reply START.
  6. 6If the user's first inbound text is START or UNSTOP, AgAnswers sends the same disclosure and asks the user to reply START again to confirm.
  7. 7Only after the user replies START to that disclosure is ongoing SMS enabled for that phone and organization. If the number belongs to a pending invited member, that same confirmation also accepts the invite.
  8. 8AgAnswers stores the phone number, organization, channel, consent status, state source, inbound message SID, timestamps, and message event history as proof of consent.

Users can opt out at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, or STOPALL and can request help by replying HELP.
